Marco van Ginkel
suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his knee during the
match at Swindon on 24 September. He is expected to be out for
approximately six months.
Eden Hazard
missed the away game against Steaua Bucharest on 1 October. He trained
on Friday 4 October and his availability for the game against
Norwich will be assessed on Saturday 5 October.
Fernando Torres
suffered a medial collateral ligament injury to his left knee in the
Champions League game at Steaua Bucharest on 1 October. He is expected
to be out for approximately three weeks.
Ashley Cole is unavailable for England's international on 11 October due to a rib injury suffered against Norwich on 6 October.
